The College of Arts & Sciences’ Diversity Committee is launching a new initiative to support a sense of belonging and mentorship of graduate students from diverse backgrounds, broadly defined.
CASConnects will be comprised of CAS faculty and staff who volunteer to devote 1-3 hours across the semester to this connection and mentorship program.
These meetings will be a place where we can support students around identities of race/ethnicity, LGBTQ+, international, first-generation, and ability status or any other aspects of identity.
If you are interested (or already providing support like this), please join our meeting on Tuesday, January 26! Also, complete this short survey to provide us your information if you have not already done so.
For more information or to receive the Zoom information, contact Dr. Gabriela Livas Stein, head of the CAS Diversity Committee, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
