The Department of Mathematics and Statistics will host professor Hongyu Zhao from Yale University for a Helen Barton Lecture in Computational Mathematics. Professor Zhao will be giving a talk on “Predicting Disease Risk from Genomics Data.”

Zhu is department chair and Ira V. Hiscock Professor of Biostatistics, professor of genetics, and professor of statistics and data science at the Yale School of Public Health.
