Step 1:

  1. Fill out the Intent to Apply Form here.
  2. Are you applying for an external fellowship? Fill out this form and save it to upload into your RAMSeS application.
  3. Are you planning to apply to a foundation? Make sure you also fill out the form here.

Step 2:

Start working on your budget documents (Click here for an internal budget spreadsheet template, and here for a basic budget justification template to get you started).

Salary Fringe Rates

Faculty, staff and postdocs: 38%

Students have two different fringe rates:

  • Academic enrolled months: 0.10%
  • Summer non-enrolled months: 8.00%

Does your project have another university as a subcontract to UNCG?

UNCG will need the following items from the other PI  and their University:
1. Budget
2. Budget Justification
3. Letter of Intent to UNCG
4. UNCG Subrecipient Form
5. Statement of Work
6. Facilities, Equipment and other resources
7. Biosketch
8. Current and pending support

Step 3:

Start and submit a RAMSeS internal grant approval application for your grant proposal here.

Step 4:

Prepare and finalize your grant documents for submission.
